Athletic Courts Fundraising Committee
In the 2024 budget, the HOA Board set aside $100,000 to go towards the construction of a new Athletic Court to be built at the pool. This court will be a wonderful addition to our neighborhood amenity offerings, for young and old alike. HOA members and their guests (for a fee) will be able to reserve one of four pickleball courts. The original design was to create a tennis court/pickleball court, but with this footprint, we are better served with more pickleball courts for more players. Additionally, this would reduce the cost of the net systems. The courts are currently able to support two basketball hoops, and will also be utilized by both the Swim Team and the Social Committee for events.
While the HOA has set aside a significant amount of money for the construction, it is not enough to cover the entire cost and we will be asking the neighborhood for contributions and sponsorships. JB Robinson, Liz Rhodes, and Debbie Dujardin have graciously offered to head up this committee.
