Go Bolts!
Being in a neighborhood like ours is extraordinary, especially when swim team season rolls around. Yes, we do Halloween and the 4th of July spectacularly, but the families in BW also come together every summer to make memories with our kids. The Botany Woods Swim Team, known as the Botany Bolts, consists of residents’ children and grandchildren who enjoy friendly competition with other neighborhood swim teams.
Botany Woods has been part of the Swim Association Invitational League (SAIL) since its inception in 1964. Along with McCarter, Stone Lake, and Chetsu, Botany Woods was one of the original members of SAIL (initially called PYA - Parent/Youth Association).
The Botany Bolts Swim Team is successful because of the support of many parents, volunteers, neighbors, and local organizations. We want to extend our sincere thanks to all of our generous sponsors!
